Career & Technical Education
At WHS, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs provide students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for both college and career success. Students can explore a variety of pathways, including Culinary, Agricultural Science, Business Marketing, Coding, Stage Production, and Law & Public Safety, each designed to build real-world skills and industry knowledge. Through engaging, project-based learning and opportunities for certifications, leadership, and internships, students gain confidence and direction for their future. WHS CTE programs empower students to turn their interests into opportunities and take the first steps toward a successful and rewarding career.
Students in CTE programs also have the opportunity to participate in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), which extend learning beyond the classroom. Through CTSOs, students develop leadership skills, compete in regional and national events, and connect with peers who share their interests. These organizations provide valuable experiences in teamwork, public speaking, and problem-solving, helping students build confidence while preparing for college, careers, and lifelong success.
